During this time of restricted access to correctional facilities, the Diocese of Austin (DOA) and the Archdiocese of San Antonio (ADSA) are producing recordings of Mass liturgies for the Sunday ahead to provide inmates the opportunity to participate in a virtual Mass. The priest who celebrates each Mass is a full-time prison ministry chaplain whose homily is oriented towards those incarcerated in state or federal correctional facilities rather than to a typical parish audience. You are welcome to copy these Masses to any type of file medium for viewing by inmates in the correctional facilities in which you volunteer. Click on the links below to access these recordings.

The Restorative Justice Ministry of the Diocese of Austin in conjunction with Catholic Charities of Central Texas have begun recording a series of mental health education sessions on various topics of interest to prison inmates. The first two episodes cover “Distant Parenting” (how to be a parent while incarcerated) and “Preparing for Release” (what do I do when I get out, and how do I make that work?). A third series on "Boundaries" was recently completed. You are welcome to copy these audio recordings to any type of file medium that can be listened to by inmates in the correctional facilities in which you volunteer.
